I think less and less people go to newgrounds.
In 2009, 200 voters needed to pass movies and games.
Today, only 80 voters needed pass movies and games.
One day, we only need 5 people to make movies and game to pass under jugment.

Strange feelings about Newgrounds

Creative content making is currently at a weird place.
There's not much to do than to keep promoting excellence and freedom of expression on this site.
As long as somebody will want to promote these values newgrounds will be there as a platform.
People will eventually start looking for quality and they will come across newgrounds. If you want to speed this process up you can tell all your friends to come visit the site or support the site monetarily, helping the fight for quality over quantity directly (or both if you're feeling extra).

Its definitely not a popular platform, but it has its merits...and disadvantages.
Newgrounds was popular with flash movies and games but not anymore since everybody now
use HTML5 and mp4s.
Members I know now also have Youtube accounts.
